Unfortunately, many people don't wash their hands correctly. To properly wash, you need to fully lather up and rub for a full 20 seconds. Hands need to be rinsed in running water. Multiple studies have shown that if you do not actually rub for a full 20m seconds, than using a hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol is way more germicidal. Once you have washed your hands properly with soap and water, DO NOT follow up with hand sanitizer. Why?
